Where To Sit At SunTrust Park

WHERE TO SIT AT SUNTRUST PARK

Atlanta! We have a brand new ballpark and it's opening in less than a month. SunTrust Park is loaded with awesome features like the 2 story restaurant called the Chop House, a Terrapin Brewery & Fox Brothers along with a massive scoreboard and areas for the kids. After our preseason visit to the park we can assure you that it's worth the drive to get out there and check it out.

As awesome as the new stadium features are, you still have to sit somewhere to watch the game. Getting the right seat can be kind of hard if you have never been to the park before, luckily we have been and below you will find some thoughts on the seating at the new stadium and which seats might be best for you.

Which works out perfect since single game tickets just went on sale today!

Best Seats In The House: If money's no object for you than the Dugout Infield seats are your go to seat. All of these seats are within the first 13 rows above the dugouts. They are as close to the action as you can get without being an owner, wife, girlfriend or member of the board.  These seats also include a $10 food and beverage credit and access to the Dugout Club - an exclusive air-conditioned area to take a break from the heat, use the facilities, or grab a beer.

Best Club Seats: If you want an all inclusive food and beverage environment with access to the exclusive Delta Sky360 Club, the Chairman Seats is your section. Right behind home plate, these seats are just right behind the overpriced Suntrust Club seats and give you the same all inclusive food and beverage service (including beer and wine) with the exception of mixed drinks, which are extra. The Executive Seats also are all inclusive and give you access to the Delta Sky360 Club for a slightly lower price and distance from the field.

Best Value Seats: If you are looking for a high quality seat a really fair price than your best bet for a seat with be in the Diamond Infield. These seats start just 13 rows off the Infield and are significantly less expensivethan the best seats in the house.

Just Get Me In The House: If you're looking to just get into a game the Vista Corner is your jam. With a good view of the entire field there may not be a cheaper, more fun way to to spend an afternoon in the southern spring sunshine.

Overrated!: Every ballpark has those seats that are you wonder "how do they value these so high?" In Fenway it's the seats by Pesky's pole (you can't see anything, but the pole) and at SunTrust it's going to be the Dugout Reserved seats. These seats are more expensive and are farther from home plate than some of the 200 level seats. If the Reds are coming to town and you can get these for a bargain they might make sense, but as fans of the game we wouldn't point you to buy these seats.

LazyBoy Seats?: The seats in the Dugout levels are made of mesh. That's right mesh. Unlike the hard back seats that send your a 7th inning stretch in the 2nd that were at the Ted, these mesh seats are cozy and form fitting like you wouldn't believe. This feature definitely helps make the seats worth the extra money.

Keep Your Head Up: The foul territory at SunTrust is pretty small when compared to the Ted and some of the other new parks in MLB. That means there will be a ton more foul balls and a ton more chances to catch one.

We hope these tips help. If you are looking for tickets now we have already got ours and you can view them at the link below.
